2.2 Personal Information - If you decide to apply on-line for a product or service or for a quote on a product or service offered by
JLT|Online you may be asked to provide personal contact details (such as name, postal address and e-mail address), financial information (for example, account or credit card details) and demographic/profile information (for instance, your postcode and age).
Your personal information may be held by JLT|Online on computer or manual files and will be used for administration purposes including carrying out claims handling and fraud prevention in connection with any insurance cover we arrange for you. It will not be passed to any other party for any reason not related to your insurance with JLT|Online.
2.3 Dealing with other people - To comply with data protection legislation, the request of many of our policyholders and to make the managing your policy more convenient, it is our policy to deal only with any person named on the policy who contacts us regarding the policy.
If you would like someone else to be able to deal with your policy for you on a regular basis please let us know. In some exceptional circumstances we may also deal with other people who call us on your behalf. If at any time you would prefer us to deal only with you, please call to let us know.
2.4 Exchanging Information - We exchange personal information with other approved organisations for underwriting and fraud prevention purposes and for the purpose of fulfilling claims. We may provide such information to others where required or permitted by law, and the Data Protection Act of 1998.
